10-Year-Old Killed On Way Home from Chol Hamoed Trip

avrohom-dorAvrohom Nochum Dor z”l, a 10-year-old boy from the Israeli city of Beitar Illit, was killed in a car accident yesterday.

His family was returning from a Chol Hamoed trip in southern Israel when their car turned over. The boy, who police estimate was not buckled, was thrown from the vehicle and was immediately killed.

Avrohom Nochum is a son of Rabbi Michael Dor, director of the Kfar Sitrin educational village. Mrs. Dor and her three daughters – aged two months, six and thirteen – were taken to Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva to be treated and were released.

The accident took place on Highway 40 near the Goral junction.

The levaya took place yesterday in Yerushalayim.

    i won’t write anymore, hopefully we will get the wake-up call from Hashem & change our ways, so noone will need to hear such sad & tragic events happening R”L (especially in the midst of sukkos, zman simchaseinu , the time of happiness
