At least 17 children have been killed after the minibus they were travelling in crashed into a truck and exploded in a huge ball of fire.
Colliding with a large construction truck, the 22-seat bus flipped on to its side, and exploded into flames. The truck burst into flames as well and has suffered extensive damage. The condition of the driver of the truck is unknown.
The incident took place in Mpumalanga province, north of the capital Pretoria, near Gauteng.
