2015 Poised to Be Hottest Year on Record

hot weatherNew data released Thursday found that 2015 is on pace to be the hottest year on record, with January through May 2015 surpassing the same period in 2010 as the warmest first five months of any year, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Land and sea temperatures worldwide were the warmest in more than 130 years, according to the agency.

May averaged 1.57 Fahrenheit above the average worldwide temperature of 58.6 degrees while it was also the wettest month on record for the U.S. Read more at The Weather Channel.

  1. It’s June 19th in New York City. It has reached 90 once so far this year. Which means it is one of the coolest springs in the last 50 years. This organization
