Fighters with the Islamic rebel group Al-Shabab attacked a prominent hotel in Somalia’s capital city today, resulting in at least 21 deaths, including six of the attackers.
Gunmen held control over the Maka Al-Mukarramah Hotel for over 12 hours until police and security agents reclaimed the building. Among those killed was the Somalian ambassador to Switzerland, Yusuf Bari-Bari. Read more at ABC News.
