An Amtrak passenger train derailed onto the I-5 freeway outside of Seattle, closing the highway until further notice. The southbound lanes of Interstate 5 see about 60,000 vehicles per day.
It’s unclear if there are any injuries or what caused the derailment though mass casualties is suspected.
