A group of 29 top scientists, mostly physicists, praised the Iran nuclear deal in a letter to President Obama today, calling the deal “innovative” and “stringent.”
Among the letter’s signees were five Nobel laureates—Leon N. Cooper, Sheldon L. Glashow, David Gross, Burton Richter, and Frank Wilczek—along with experienced makers of nuclear arms, including Richard L. Garwin, who helped design the world’s first hydrogen bomb.
“We congratulate you and your team,” the letter said, addressing President Obama, adding that the deal “will advance the cause of peace and security in the Middle East and can serve as a guidepost for future nonproliferation agreements.” Read more at the New York Times.

They were kept out of the loop obviously, because it’s completely dangerous to Israel to anyone with common sense. Obama is acting as a friend but clearly a snake and enemy of Israel. Fools, and weaklings, that’s all that we see here to make a deal. Obviously, Iran’s intentions remain of evil and so the only real response it’s strangle them economically then strike them to remove them totally. that’s it. Anything short, is just a show of weakness.
“Why was nuclear terrorism separated from “ordinary terrorism” in the “agreement”?” According to former Mossad head Efraim Halevi, Obama made a very reasonable decision to separate the the nuclear issue from the terrorism issue in the negotiations because by the time an agreement on the terrorism issue could have been achieved, which would likely take years, the Iranians would already built a sizable nuclear arsenal and it was more pressing to prevent that than try to resolve other issues. Everyone is ignoring the fact that many former leaders of the Israeli intelligence and military communities support the deal, and the present ones probably also support it but can’t say so for fear of losing their jobs. A number of them, including dozens of retired generals, recently signed a letter to Netanyahu to stop his opposition to the deal in the hope of having more input into how the deal gets implemented and enforced. These are experts in the field who cannot be accused of wanting any harm to come to Israel. Last winter a group of congressmen visiting Israel wanted to meet with the Israeli disarmament experts to hear what they had to say and Bibi tried hard to stop the meeting, since he knew that they agreed with Obama’s position far more than with his, but the congressmen persisted and eventually he had to give in. But we never heard what came out of that meeting.
