Three Palestinian youths were arrested this morning close to a Yerushalayim shul in possession of makeshift blades.
Police detained the three close to the Heichal Ya’akov shul in the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood, and initial reports indicated they may have intended to carry out a terror attack, Times of Israel reports.
However, police said the investigation was ongoing and the three may have intended to use the blades to steal cars in the area.
At the time of the arrest, the shul was filled with people davening Shacharis.
The makeshift blades in question were broken pairs of scissors, with the handle wrapped in electrical tape.
