The holder of the $315.3 million Powerball ticket sold at a New Jersey supermarket last month is now known to state lottery officials. The winner will be revealed to the public when he or she meets the media on Friday afternoon at lottery headquarters in Lawrenceville.

Sold at the ShopRite on South River Street in Hackensack for the May 19 drawing, the ticket matched five numbers plus the Powerball: 3, 6, 9, 17 and 56, with a Powerball of 25.

The ticket is the third most valuable Powerball ticket sold in New Jersey. If the winner chose the cash option, he or she will win $183.3 million before state and federal taxes are deducted.

  1. I wonder how long it will take this guy to lose all the money and go into debt? It’s guaranteed to happen.
