3.5-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Dallas

dallas-quakeThe U.S. Geological Service reports that a 3.5-magnitude earthquake occured six miles from Dallas, Texas and five miles from Irving, Texas, which has experienced 19 earthquakes since last September.

The uptick in Texas quakes began with the last several years’ oil and gas boom fed by fracking. Read more at USGS.gov.
