The oldest bochur of Yerushalayim’s Ohr Elchonon Yeshiva, R’ Moshe Ezra Chamad, 55, recently got engaged.
The kallah is Leah Ibn Ezra from the city’s Sanhedriah neighborhood.
The chosson is a brother of Rav Yaakov Chamad, head of the Shas institutions in Dimonah, and a cousin of Rav Shalom Cohen, nosi of the Moetzet Chachmei Hatorah of the Shas party and rosh yeshiva of Yeshivat Porat Yosef.
The chosson‘s mother, Rabbanit Shulamit Chamad, passed away about a year and a half ago.

The chosson was close to the late Rosh Yeshiva of Ohr Elchonon, Rav Moshke Chodosh zt’l
I hope the Kallah is older then the chosson in keeping with the regulations set forth by NASI .
