  1. Sounds interesting.
WHO, WHAT, WHERE and sponsored by
What type of Atzeres,,,,,,tefillah? Should all working & learning people take the day off? and should children stop schools, finals, etc. for this? hmmm hm,,,

  2. THE ONE AND ONLY ANSWER to the threat of bitul torah is INCREASING LIMUD TORAH, plain and simple. Not by wasting peoples time by killing a Wednesday in tumidicka Manhattan

  3. Years ago, when Rav Moshe Feinstein and Rav Yaakov Kamenetsky zichronam livracha led the American Torah world, they never initiated a protest or exerted communal pressure against the Israeli government unless specifically asked to do so by the Gedolei Eretz Yisroel who are intimately involved with what is transpiring in Israel.

It is well known that the Brisker Rav zt’l was very wary of providing those who hate Israel, with the ammunition of a black-hat protest to help them in their efforts to hurt Israel and its yidden. Only rarely did he approve of the threat of such a protest to force the Zionists to relent in their desecration of ancient kevarim or other carefully chosen issues.

We dare not become the “extras” in an anti-Zionism parade initiated by others.

Rav Shteinman has called for us to refrain from public protests at this time. This does not sit well with those who enjoy a big tumul and protest rally.

  4. you should know that the threat is realer than real here in Eretz Yisroel – and you ppl in America are not taking it seriously at all.

  5. FOR WHO TO SEE?!?

    WHAT’S THE MESSAGE?!?

DOES ANYBODY THINK THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT CARES IF THE AMERICAN GUY SEES HOW UNFAIR AND ENTITLED THE RELIGIOUS JEWS ARE?!?

  6. I heard that R’dovid and R’ Meir solveitchik said The American’s should PROTEST. Same with R’ Shmuel Deutsch shlita.
    Can someone confirm

  7. Yes. My son is in r dovids shiur and he said that America must protest. Theres no such thing as bitul torah by a gezairas ha’shmad. The goal of drafting the Yeshiva bochurim is only to make them less frum. Noone needs them for the army. To paskin a chillul Hashem we shuould leave to the gadol hador

  8. This one has a different, more moderate nusach, and no location is given. Which leads me to believe that it may be a different, competing thing.

Either way, the fact that no names are given, of gedolim, or others (e.g. an organization like Moetzes gedolei haTorah of Agudas Israel), and that it is just signed with a generic term like ‘Bnei Hayeshivos’, makes it seem fishy. If our gedolim are behind it, that would be stated in detail with their identifying names/info, as is usually done, I believe.

Since there are no names seen here now, it should be treated as an anonymous poster.
