I am trying to help my Partners in Torah chavrusah confirm his Jewish ancestry. All we have to go with is his mother’s name, Joan Sharson, and dtae of birth, September 30, 1940. She lived in the Chicago area for several years until a divorce and then had no contact with her children. She is assumed to have passed away.
