Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas issued an unexpected statement on Friday condemning anti-Semitism and denouncing the Holocaust as the “most heinous crime in history” only days after he delivered a controversial speech suggesting that Jews’ role in the banking sector had led to their massacre by the Nazis.

  1. Classic.
    “If people were offended”
In other words, he couldn’t care less. Ah shucks, too bad I got caught.

  2. Abbas’s “apology” isn’t for Jewish consumption. It’s for the traditional Israel-bashing PLO-loving crowd that was forced to condemn Abbas’s previous statement. He’s now given them a fig leaf to once again support this “champion of peace”.

  3. Are the niturei Marta the Moshe beck people still gonna follow him even tough he apologized on his speech? Or they’ll say “rabbeinu Sor min haderech”

  4. Who cares what this lowlife thinks or says. Remember, he was one of the masterminds and supporters of the Munich massacre in 1972. Yemach Sh’mo V’zichro.
