Agudas Yisroel Bais Binyomin to Celebrate 25 Years With Gala Shabbos

Agudas Yisroel Bais Binyomin of Avenue L in Flatbush, Brooklyn, will be celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary this Shabbos. The shul continues to thrive under the leadership of its rov, Rav Moshe Tuvia Lieff, and his Rebbetzin.

Last February, Rav Lieff took over as morah d’asrah of the shul, which had been led until then by Rav Pinchos Breuer, who, after a decade as rov, moved to Eretz Yisroel. The shul was previously led by the unforgettable Rav Yitzchok Isbee zt”l.

The anniversary will be marked with a gala Shabbos at the shul, located at the corner of Avenue L and Nostrand Avenue in Flatbush.

The Shabbos is being sponsored by Allen Isaac and Edie Gross and tribute will be paid the the presidents and rabbonim of the shul, and specifically Rav Lieff, Rav Breuer, and the family of Rav Isbee zt”l.

The special Shabbos program will include tefillos, shiurim and seudos. Amongst the esteemed rabbonim who will participate are the Novominsker Rebbe, the Mattesdorfer Rov, Rav Yisroel Belsky, Rav Noach Isaac Oelbaum, Rav Shloime Mandel, Rav Reuyven Feiunstein, and others.

Kabbolas Shabbos tonight will be led by Shua Kessin and the Shirah Choir. The seudas Shabbos will be catered by Kol Kuts. Shacharis tomorrow will be led by Chazzan Yanky Lemmer. Seudah shlishis will feature zemiros by Reb Abish Brodt and his sons.

On Motzoei Shabbos, a melava malka will be held at the Palace Hall on McDonald Avenue, with a kumzitz and singing by Shloime Dachs, Chazzan Lemmer, Shua Kessin, Michoel Pruzansky and Srully Williger.
