Air Force Gives Drone Pilots a Break

droneThe U.S. Air Force began reducing the number of unmanned air patrols it flies, in an effort to give its overworked drone pilots a break. 

The reduction from 65 combat air patrols to 60, as of April 1, is meant to ready the workforce for the next decade of warfare, officials say.

Each combat air patrol is a complicated structure, requiring four aircraft, pilots, antennas, intelligence officials, and the like. Read more at Defense One.
