Harvard law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz said backing President Donald Trump in certain cases has been harder than defending O.J. Simpson and other celebrity clients, according to an interview with The New York Times, USA Today reports.

When asked, “Is this actually worse than when you defended O.J. Simpson?” of his defense of the president, Dershowitz replied: “Of course. Or Claus von Bulow or Leona Helmsley or Michael Milken or Mike Tyson. This is much worse than all that.”

Dershowitz continued, “In those cases people were critical of me, but they were prepared to discuss it. They were prepared to have a dialogue. Here, the people that I’m objecting to want to stop the dialogue. They don’t want to have the conversation.” Read more at USA Today.

  1. Your headline is ambiguous.

It sounds like he has been harder to defend because he is worse.

The article says he is harder to defend because people wont listen.

    Different picture

  2. In the eyes of many Trump-haters, he is a Nazi who is trying to enact laws and policies that will make our country similar to Nazi Germany. Thinking President Trump – for all his flaws – is anything like Hitler ym”s is crazy, but once they make that association, their resulting behavior toward Dershowitz makes sense.

  3. He is harder to defend because republicans are guilty till proven innocent liberals are innocent even after they are proven guilty
