Shatnez has been was discovered in Roberta di Roma (China) children’s sweaters, currently being sold in Jewish stores in Lakewood, Boro Park and Williamsburg. Note that only some of these Chinese sweaters contained linen threads, caught within their inner seams. The contents label lists 70% Wool, 30% Cotton and the sweaters come in a few different styles. However, shatnez has so far been discovered only in the sweater style shown in the picture shown here, as well as in the black sweater with white dots.
The shatnez was found by Rav Yosef Sayagh of the Lakewood Shatnez Laboratory.
