It is now almost one month since the disappearance of Mr. Allan Rothman. Allan went missing on December 9 from the Rockaway Manor in Far Rockaway, NY. He is 56 years old, though he looks older than that, and has a slight limp. He weighs 130 pounds and is 5’6”. Over a hundred caring and devoted individuals spent many days and nights to try to find Allan, but not enough has been done. Sources close to Allan have said that proper media coverage, both in the Jewish and non-Jewish media, has been lacking. Sources close to Allan believe that he is in a hospital or medical facility somewhere.
Surveillance video from December 9 shows that Allan left the Rockaway Manor adult home early in the morning. He was last seen on Ocean Avenue and Avenue U in Flatbush, Brooklyn, after he traveled there via public transportation to visit a rov he knows. He was then expected to return to Rockaway Manor.
Anyone who in a hospital ward or a psychiatric ward or facility of any kind should please check to see whether Allan is there. Allan is on insulin and requires assistance to administer the medication.
Anyone who has any information regarding Allan’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Missing Persons Unit of the New York City Police Department at 212-694-7781. The family is currently offering a reward of $2,500 for any information that leads directly to Allan’s whereabouts.
