Just nine nations voted against the Palestinian Authority’s upgrade to nonvoting observer state status, which passed the General Assembly 138-9, with 41 abstentions.
Voting “no” today were Israel, the United States and Canada, joined by the Czech Republic, Panama and several Pacific island nations: Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru and Palau. The Pacific nations typically support the U.S. and Israel at the U.N. on key General Assembly resolutions.

may g-d bless all of us and them
We are sososo alone in the world with the best “Abba in Shamayim”… The entire world, especially speeches of Turkey, Egypt and Iran want to see us dissaper and leave. Israel and the Jews are evil and the source of all conflicts in the world..
Micronesia’s going to cash in big time when Mashiach comes.
Giving the people who call themselves Palestinians some mesure of rights doesn’t make one anti-jewish. Believing in the 2 state solution, and the right for both Jews and Muslims to control parts of a piece of land they both consider sacred necessitates recognizing the “Palestinians” right to exist. I agree that this step hurts the peace process, but don’t make it out to be anti-jewish when it is just pro human rights.
ATTN please be nice: With all due respect, you are terribly mistaken.
