Amazon Sues 1,000 ‘Fake Reviewers’

amazonAmazon is filed a lawsuit Friday against over 1,000 fake reviewers, for tarnishing the brand with “false, misleading and inauthentic” reviews.

The defendants in the case purportedly sell their review service on another task-oriented site called Fiverr.

One complaint is against a review that says a USB cable “lit up” someone’s life.

Amazon is beginning to use artificial intelligence to target fake reviews in the future. Read more at The Guardian.

  1. So let me see if I’ve got this straight. Amazon invites the public to buy their products and post reviews on their website. Then Amazon sues the users. What great customer service! And I can join this for only $200 a year? A real bargain.
