A 23-year-old Cal State Long Beach student has been identified as the American killed by terrorists in Paris Friday night. Nohemi Gonzalez was an exchange student at Strate School of Design. Two other Americans were injured. The State Department has not yet confirmed the number of U.S. casualties.
Cal State Long Beach President Jane Close Conoley said she is “deeply saddened” by the news of Gonzalez’s death. “Our university stands with our nearly eighty foreign exchange students from France as they struggle with this tragedy,” she added. “We will extend all support necessary to comfort them.” Read more at the Los Angeles Times.
