andrew-cuomoNew York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo said today he’ll run for governor of the third-most populous state, saying “enough is enough.” “We want our government back,” Cuomo said. “I have a plan to rebuild New York from the ground up.”

Cuomo, 52, is the son of three-term Governor Mario Cuomo. He announced his candidacy in lower Manhattan at the Department of Education’s headquarters.

Cuomo said the state needs to get its “fiscal house in order,” and government must be restructured without raising taxes.

“This is not New York at its best,” he said. “I remember New York when it was better.”
