The Histadrut Labor Federation decided today that there will be a general strike at Ben-Gurion International Airport, starting at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday in solidarity with Israeli airlines, reports Arutz Sheva.
The decision, Arutz Sheva says, followed the government’s decision to sign the “open skies” agreement with the European Union to increase competition. Employees of the airlines fear layoffs as a result of the five-year deregulation program.
