Anthony Weiner Released From Federal Prison

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner has been released from a federal prison outside Boston and placed in a residential re-entry facility, The Associated Press reported Sunday.

Weiner reported to prison in November 2017 to begin a 21-month sentence. The AP reported that the Federal Bureau of Prisons shows Weiner is in the custody of a Residential Re-entry Management office in Brooklyn, New York.

The former congressman is scheduled to finish his sentence on May 14.

  1. Anthony Weiner’s mother is Jewish. Her maiden name was Finkelstein and her ancestry is European Ashkenazi. This information is readily available all over the internet, including an interview of Mrs. Weiner from about nine years ago.
