that is a typo. it’s 1,700% not 17,000%
The speaker claims that the number of people apprehended at the border has (allegedly) gone down and this (allegedly) shows that there is no crisis? I don’t know if the numbers are real, but even if accurate, maybe it shows that the infiltrators have become more sophisticated and we can’t keep up with apprehending them, thus more “get through” thus we really need that wall?
