An appeals court upheld a ruling to dismiss a case against Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner Thursday. Kirchner was accused of concealing the alleged involvement of senior Iranian officials in a 1994 bombing on a Jewish center in Buenos Aires.
Two out of three judges voted against an appeal from prosecutors, ruling that there was no evidence that a crime had been committed.
Federal Judge Daniel Rafecas dismissed the case in late February after reviewing a report prepared by special prosecutor Alberto Nisman, who was found dead in in his apartment hours before he was due to testify against Kirchner. Read more at The Guardian.
