The Secret Service arrested an Iowa man who was found to have a .30-30 rifle, 40 rounds of ammunition, and a six-inch knife in his car. R.J. Kapheim, 41, was acting odd and saying, “Someone in Iowa told him to go to the White House,” said Secret Service spokeswoman Nicole Mainor.
Stopping Kapheim is one of the Secret Service’s rare bright spots among many blunders in recent years. Director Julia Pierson was forced to resign last month after it was revealed that the Secret Service failed to keep an intruder armed with a knife from entering the White House. Read more at WJLA.
