NYPD homicide detectives caught Djems Jean-Paul, accused of stabbing 23-year-old Omri Dahan Z”L to death and wounding his 29-year-old brother, Ayal, during a fight over a parking spot on E. 73rd St. near Avenue M in Brooklyn last night.
Police closed in on the 41-year-old man from Elmont at a Kennedy Airport ticket counter as he tried to fly to his native Haiti, sources said.
Jean-Paul is charged with manslaughter, assault and illegal weapons possession. He has no prior arrests. Read more here.
