assad1Syrian President Bashar Assad today threatened to set fire to the Middle East, and especially to Israel, if NATO attacks Syria, the Iranian Fars news agency reported.

In a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Assad said: “If a crazy measure is taken against Damascus, I will need not more than six hours to transfer hundreds of rockets and missiles to the Golan Heights to fire them at Tel Aviv.”

Davutoglu reportedly conveyed a message of warning from the US to Assad. The Iranian report has not been verified by other sources.

According to the Fars news agency, the Syrian president stressed that Damascus will also call on Hezbollah in Lebanon to launch a fierce rocket and missile attack on Israel, one that Israeli intelligence could never imagine.

“All these events will happen in three hours, but in the second three hours, Iran will attack US warships in the Persian Gulf as American and European interests will be targeted simultaneously,” Assad reportedly said.

  1. Iran would like Assad to leave so their supporters could take over. Do not forget in the Arab world Assad is considered a liberal.

  2. Let’s not forget we have brothers and sisters in the region. We need to rely on HaShem about whom the Yidden declared after the Krias Yam Suf, “HaShem Ish Milchomo!” we should only be zoiche!

  3. He just gave over all of the intelligence information that he said the Israelis wouldn’t be able to figure out with all of the time frames as well…???

  4. He’s just another dog capable of barking. And well the best way to garner support in the Arab world is to show how much you hate Jews. Achmadinejad’s doing it, together with erdogan and their rallying support and loved by the crowds. Arabs base their admiration upon war and hatred. Rarely has a arab leader preached a positive economic perspective, and boosted their support as result. And well if he shoots one missile at Israel he will have no country to call his own. And so there’s almost no reason to take this madman seriously. But he may have adopted the Hamas policy of causing terror through suicide. Well if this is the case then we are looking at a dangerous situation. Which will have to cause us to take out our thilims and tshuva. But if we look at what Israel has at its disposal from a materialistic perspective. They have enough weapons to flatten the world. The world’s lucky that Jews are the most rational people around. For had these same weapon capabilites been in the hands of any other country, there would have been a much graver situation then there’s today

  5. All the hatred, venom, and threats by the “enemies” of Israel will fall upon themselves. No harm will come to Israel. We rely on Hashem!
