  1. The caller did nothing wrong. Savage was disgraceful in the way he responded. We don’t live in the past? We don’t celebrate the past? The whole United States is geboit on the Founding Fathers and their brilliance. Savage missed the boat big time. He should be ashamed

  2. I really do not believe that the apikorsis that Michael Savage is spewing should be written about in Matzav. I am shocked that you even printed this. I go to this website so I can get kosher news. If I needed to hear this terrible speech I could go to any secular website. You must be more discriminatory on what you print. I hope there is a board who is editing every news article.

  3. Go Savage! What a moron that caller was. Its not cute to call into a political show and invite the host for shabbas. But the guy wouldnt stop when he was asked nicely so Savage walked all over him like he deserved.

  4. the question that michael savage is asking is, in my opinion, a fair one. ‘why celebrate a freedom from egypt or the removal of a haman’ if it happened over 1000 years ago? what about the “haman” that we have today in washington?
the answer that he should have been given is that we are celebrating G-d’s hand in FREEING us from egypt as well as G-d’s hand in GETTING RID of haman. when the time comes that us jews are freed from the problems we have today (that probably translates into the moshiach coming) i’m sure we will also make a yomtov for that. and that, i’m sure, will make michael savage very happy!

  5. The caller was silly to bring up the topic. Why should this Radio person understand purim? Give me a break. The caller was being an idiot

  6. Heard this total Chillel Hashem, what a disgrace for an orthodox man to think he will belittle someone and with that he will get him to come to his house for a shabbat meal, “we attract bees with honey”

When Mr. Savage says something like. “stop living in the past” stop celebrating King Hamen from a 1000 years ago” “Start living in the now and think about King Hamen in the White House”

Well Mr Savage, from the tone of the caller i dont blame you being obnoxious, however, one question or thought i would like to pose to you,

Fine lets think of living in the now, no more past, no more Passover, no more Haman, no more,,,, etc… but only after every human being every American today will do the same, from today on ,, No more Christmas, no more Memorial day no more New Years, and of course Washington is not in the White House so definitely, no more July 4. etc etc etc. you get my point,,

we dont live in the past, we live in 5776 2016, but our heritage our love for who we are our strength our stability our connection to Mount Sinai is what we celebrate, the struggles the pain the hardships of our forefathers and foremothers their sweat and tears is why we have everything we do today, so in essence we arent celebrating Hamen we are celebrating our freedom our life our heritage with stability as we have the past 3500 years, with a reply like that, perhaps one may be able to invite him for shabbat, and allow his hole soul to make a Brocho,,

    Good Shabbos kol tuv

  7. I don’t think Savage did anything wrong. He’s not frum what does he care about Purim. I don’t think this guy was being fair by being personal with Savage “Come to my house for Shabbos”! I would have cut the guy off after the second time he said “Happy Purim.

  8. The caller had good intentions but he wasn’t prepared to deal with Savage on an intellectual level. It could be explained the the events of Purim have solid spiritual meaning about the purpose of life and our ongoing connection to Hakadosh Boruch hu and the advancement of our lives to a higher level leading to life in the world to come rather than turning to dust as the evolutionists believe. Much more could have been said by someone better prepared to counter Savage’s lack of understanding.

  9. Michael Savage lost his mind. Lately when I listen to him he is just ranting and raving he seriously should see a brain doctor

  10. Gut feeling, Mr. Savage is happy to be the drip in the toilet.

Seriously, what does he do besides hate America? I could feel no religion, value or voice.

So I guess if I never listen to him, I wont miss much.

  11. 1. The caller should not have set Savage off by wishing him “happy Purim” 2x…
after the first time, he was already “unraitzed”.
2.The caller lacked the intellectual capacity to answer him properly; how unfortunate!!!
    3. Did the caller really think he would come for Shabbos?!
Savage is a radio personality & we yidden are not his “friends”.
    4. The entire phone call overall was so embarrasing, & definitely was a chilul Hashem.

  12. IM THE ONE THAT CALLED UP THE SHOW AND SAVAGE COMPLETELY FILTERED OUT HALF OF WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY. HE DENOUNCES LIBERALISM AND PEOPLE THAT MISINTERPRET OTHER PEOPLES WORDS YET WHEN YOU CALL UP HIS SHOW HE FILTERS OUT ANYTHING THAT YOU SAY IS IMPORTANT AND MAKES YOU SOUND FOOLISH BY ONLY PUTTING ON THE SHOW THINGS THAT YOU SOUND SILLY. CALL UP YOURSELF AND FIND OUT. HE HAS NO RIGHT TO DENOUNCE PEOPLE WHO MISCONSTRUED OTHER PEOPLES SENTENCES AND THEN GO AND SHUT PEOPLE DOWN ON A RADIO SHOW. I WAS TRYING TO SAY THAT ITS IMPORTANT TO CELEBRATE THE PAST ESPECIALLY THIS STORY OF PURIM OTHERWISE TO QUOTE ME ” YOU MICHAEL SAVAGE WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN BORN IN QUEENS” HAD HAMAN BEEN ANNIHILATED . Y

    • You had no right to make it personal with him and invite him for Shabbos. His religious preferences are none of your business. What was the purpose of your call?? Did you honestly think he’d say yes? He doesn’t know you ‘from a hole in the wall’.

    • I heard the audio and you did good. He tried to completely take you off guard and you remained polite and respectful. Michael Savage should be ashamed at himself. For no reason he insulted a peaceful holiday. It is none of his business if and how we celebrate the holiday. And this that he called Obama ‘Haman’ is reiculious. If anything, Obama is an anti Semite that for no reason is giving Israel a hard time and regarding his policies he is clueless. Haman wanted to destroy the Jewish people. Im ain dos, havdala minoyin…

    • You did well. My thoughts were Torah was ordained.

      Keep up the giving.

      Savage is dry.

Blessed moment in my Matzav experience.

Really hard to deal with naive loser speech from the voices of the popular gang on the air.

      Thanks.

  13. What he said about Mitzitzu bi’peh was disgusting. He was attacking Bris Mila overall. He is your typical apiykorus.
