Audio: Rav Avrohom Schorr On the Churban
[Audio below.] The following shiur was delivered by Rav Avrohom Schorr, rov of Khal Tiferes Yaakov of Flatbush. The almost 50-minutes presentation contains thoughts on Churban Bais Hamikdosh, the day of Tisha B’Av, what exactly we mourn on this tragic day and the proper persepective to maintain.

Rav Schorr’s Heoros were brilliant and and presented in a manner that was exciting, logical and understandable. This was my first time listening to a shiur of his. His mastery of the Sfas Emes and of the other Rebbes is remarkable. I would be curious to know if he would be michalek between Golus as in real Chutz LaAretz and living in Eretz Yisrael today. Would he distinguish the perspective or not?

that is quite a generic summary of the shiur. It is about maintaining the kedusha of klal yisrael. What an amazing Jew! This makes me wish I lived in Flatbush
