tony-abbott-australia“From today I declare that Australia is under new management,” said Australia’s new prime minister Friday night. Tony Abbott won the country’s general election in a landslide, returning the General-National coalition to power for the first time in six years.

Prime Minister and Labor leader Kevin Rudd conceded the election, saying that he would not attempt to retain the leadership of his party because the country’s citizens “deserve a fresh start.” Read more at BBC.
