candle-small6[Levaya info below.] It is with tremendous pain and sadness that we report the passing of Ayala Shulman a”h, daughter of Rabbi and Mrs. Ari and Reva Shulman of Chicago. She was 18 years old.

Ayala had been hit by a car two nights ago outside the bungalows near Camp Agudah Midwest in South Haven, MI. Family, friends and acquaintances had been davening for a refuah for Ayala bas Reva Gisa, as Ayala battled for her life. Her pure neshamah was taken a short while ago.

Ayala is a granddaughter of the renowned mechanech, orator and pedagogue, Rabbi Avi Shulman.

Ayala had been scheduled to fly to Eretz Yisroel following the summer to attend seminary there. Her family and friends have been plunged into mourning with her petirah in the prime of her life.

Umachah Hashem dimah me’al kol ponim.

  1. BDE: what a tragedy to befall klal yisroel in the midst of the 3 weeks.

will we EVER wake up & start doing teshuva together as a nation?

does anyone think this is coincidence? have you ever heard the fact that there is no such thing as coincidence?

you make me cry bitterly as I write this. it doesn’t sound as bad when you only know 1 side of the story (our side & view of this tragedy)
its a horrific tragedy when you know the other side (Hashem’s side) & know that this entire tragedy could’ve been avoided.

remove the word tragedy from klal yisroel already. how bad must it get C”V?

May her neshama have an aliya & her family comforted among klal yisroel.

  4. My heart is torn in two. What can one say? My tefillos and thoughts are with the Shulman family. Even though I don’t know you, you are fellow Yidden and thus your heart is mine. Ayala was all of ours. She will always remain in our hearts.
