ban-ki-moonUN chief Ban Ki-moon condemned Gaza rocket attacks on Israel today and called on both sides of the conflict to halt their aggression.

Ban “reiterates his call on all actors to exercise maximum restraint and avoid further civilian casualties and overall destabilization,” his spokesman Stephane Dujarric said.

He added that Ban “condemns the recent multiple rocket attacks on Israel from Gaza” and that “these indiscriminate attacks on civilian areas must stop.”

Israeli strikes on Gaza today killed 15 people and wounded around 100, the emergency services said, as the military began an aerial campaign against terrorists in the Strip.

Army figures showed that terrorists fired 150 rockets at southern Israel since midnight – boruch Hashem without causing any casualties – while the air force struck 150 terror targets in Gaza.

  1. BAN BAN – talk to your “friends” the TERRORISTS whom you admitted to the United (Arab) Nations institutions – tell them to STOP THE ROCKETS or else you’ll THROW THEM OUT OF THE UN

  2. Perhaps Mr. Ki-moon should come visit Israel and provide instruction on “exercising” tactics while under fire.

  3. I wish we can get Hamas to shoot a rocket at the UN building. That would be great. I would love to watch that.

  4. Does Ban think that this is a play with actors?
Israel is showing infinite more restraint than the Arabs. If he wants to be helpful let him direct his comments to Hamas!
