Steve Bannon said the Trump presidency that he helped build is “over” and vowed during an interview Friday to move forward with his nationalist movement through his alt-right website, the NY Post reports.

“The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over,” Bannon told The Weekly Standard.

“We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency. But that presidency is over. It’ll be something else. And there’ll be all kinds of fights, and there’ll be good days and bad days, but that presidency is over.”

Bannon left as President Trump’s political top political strategist on Friday and quickly returned to head the right wing website Breitbart News.

“I feel jacked up,” he said. “Now I’m free. I’ve got my hands back on my weapons.” Read more at the NY Post.

  1. Let’s hope that happens real soon. Mike Pence will make a great President. He is an upstanding moral human being. Had he run for President, I would of voted for him.

  2. FAKE NEWS!
“If there’s any confusion out there, let me clear it up: I’m leaving the White House and going to war for Trump against his opponents — on capitol hill, in the media, and in corporate America,” Bannon said Friday in an interview hours after his departure was announced by the administration.
