Longtime California senator Barbara Boxer says she will not run for reelection in 2016. She announced her decision today.
“I am never going to retire. The work is too important. But I will not be running for the Senate in 2016,” she said in a YouTube video message.
Boxer, Senate Democrats’ top environmental voice, has been in office since 1993. Read more at Politico.
