The Yerushalayim branch of the Bayit Yehudi/Jewish Home party received scathing criticism today after campaign posters appeared warning of chareidi influence in City Hall.

Bayit Yehuda accomplished its scare campaign by photoshopping chareidi garb on three mayoral candidates.

“This is typical for the anti-chareidi elements in Israel politics,” one local political activist said. “Stereotyping when it comes to chareidim is tolerated fully. It’s become the norm. Hating on chareidim has unfortunately become so much part of the fabric of some elements of society.”

  1. So I guess the “Beit Yehudi” would rather turn Jerusalem into the Sodom and Gomorrah that thrives in Tel Aviv?
