bet-shemeshThrough the arrangement of the Yerushalayim District Court, the Municipality of Beit Shemesh and the Israeli Education Ministry have come to a temporary agreement regarding the Safot Vetarbuyot school in Beit Shemesh, around which controversy swirled last month.

The school’s two floors have been cordoned off for over 100 students of the Mishekenot Daas school – a chareidi girls school – who did not have classrooms for the start of the school year.

By November 10, the Education Ministry will pay for four caravan classrooms in the Safot Vetarbuyot schoolyard for 110 students of Mishkenot Daas.

Safot Vetarbuyot will move back to the floor of the school from which it was removed.

  1. Please get us more information
Last we heard, the building is empty, and they girls are being moved into caravans in the courtyard? Who will be using the classrooms in the building? Where will these girls play, if the caravans are in the courtyard?

What happened? Why did the school/iryah cave in to the bullying of Piron, Eli Cohen, Lipman and co. ?

  2. i am a resident of this ir hakodesh and it is disgraceful how they put bnos torah in caravns and chiloni mechalelei shabbos bfarhesia rabble rousers get a real building what a chilul hashem is this an agreement or one sided chiloni occupation?!?!?!

  3. I was a resident of this neighborhood for years. We all got along. Common sense, your comments do not reflect those o; anyone I met. There is no enmity or hatred of others because they do not yet keep shabbos.

These people were In a school building and suddenly lost half their building and use of the bathrooms. Nobody contacted the, or came to meetings to discuss it. There are two sides to this story, and when we leave the politicians out of it, all the parents wanted to find a solution, which is what happened.
