Bernie Will Not Nominate Hillary at DNC

Georgia Rep. John Lewis, Maryland Sen. Barbara Mikulski, and contest-winner Na’ilah Amaru will formally nominate Hillary Clinton as the Democratic party’s presidential candidate tonight, Politico first reported.

The news contradicts earlier rumors that Sen. Bernie Sanders would officially nominate his former Democratic primary rival. More recent reports, however, have suggested Sanders will simply ask his home state of Vermont to submit a unanimous vote for Clinton’s nomination. Read more at POLITICO.
