bidenVice President Joe Biden bemoaned Washington’s dysfunction as he addressed the nation’s governors today.

“This town, unlike many of your capitals, is I hope temporarily frozen in not indifference but sort of in intense partisanship, the likes of which in my career I’ve only seen in the last couple years,” Biden told members of the National Governors Association gathered at the White House.

“The American people are tired of being tired,” he said. They want action, he said, on a string of issues including immigration reform, rebuilding crumbling infrastructure and improving education.

“I think they are so frustrated by what they see and don’t see happening here in Washington,” he added, “and I think their frustration is turning into a little bit of anger.”

  1. Mr. Biden, there is plenty of blame to go around.

The fault lies as much in the Executive Branch as in the Legislative (and the Judicial aren’t a bunch of malochim either).
