Bill Clinton Slams Netanyahu

bill-clintonFormer Senator Hillary Clinton has turned into a staunch defender of Israel in recent months, standing up for its military campaign in Gaza and praising Bibi Netanyahu for his leadership and moderation. Her husband Bill, however, appears to have a different view that he seems willing to share, at least when he thinks the microphone is off.

At a widely publicized political meeting held in Iowa on Sunday, Clinton was overheard clearly agreeing with an interlocutor from the audience who said that the Israeli Prime Minister is “not the man” who would make peace and just as clearly concurring with the statement “If we don’t force him to have peace, we won’t have peace.”

PRO-PALESTINIAN ACTIVIST: “If we don’t force him to have peace, we won’t have peace.”

CLINTON: First of all, I agree with that. But in 2000, Ehud Barak, I got him to agree to something I’m not sure I would have gotten Rabin to agree to, and Rabin was murdered for giving land to the Palestinians.

ACTIVIST: I agree. But Netanyahu is not the guy.

CLINTON: (pausing)  I agree with that, but they [the Palestinians] would have gotten 96% of the West Bank, land swaps in Gaza, appropriate water rights and East Jerusalem, something that hasn’t even been discussed since I left office. And by the way, don’t forget, both Arafat and Abbas later said they would take it “we changed our minds, we’ll take it now” but by then the Israeli government wouldn’t give it to them.

  1. Um, I actually see him defending Israel by agreeing Netanyahu isn’t the best but ultimately the Arabs refused peace and they lost their chance.

  2. First of all, Mr. Clinton is not a Jew, nor even a practicing Christian. His personal life has been a disgrace, so his criticism of Israel and Jews has no foundation. And his continuing marriage to “Benghazi Hillary” is a scandal. With that background, his pride in strong-arming Israel is unjustified and shameful.
PM Netanyahu should be lauded for standing up to the goyim who try (as in centuries past) to demean G-d and Jews.
I sense envy of PM Netanyahu, who has no impeachment, no loss of law license, no Monica Lewinsky to run way from.
    He really should be quiet.

  3. Bill was NEVER a lover of Israel. His wife’s kiss of Suha Arafat was very telling especially when it came after her scurrilous lies about the Israelis poisoning the poor PLO children.

  4. Clinton left out the fact that Olmert did offer it once again to Abbas, but Abbas refused to accept it.

As log as it wasn’t offered they said we’ll take it, but as soon as it became real they ran away. So, they never really meant it when they said they would take it.

  5. The “peace process” under Bill Clinton was a sham and a waste of time, and all the Jews who worked on this for Clinton ought to fess up.
