Bloomberg Gets 8,292 Notes a Month, All Get Answers
More than 8,000 people write to Mayor Michael Bloomberg every month, and his office says every one of them gets a response. On average, the mayor receives 272 such letters, e-mails and faxes each day.
The letters range from thank you notes from tourists to complaints about shortened bike lanes.
One 11-year-old wrote to thank the mayor for a snow day off from school. Another writer objected to the treatment of carriage horses during a snowstorm.
One resident wrote to share his amazement that the Department of Environmental Protection helped him fish his lost apartment keys out of a catch basin.

I’m more curious to know how many emails Steve Jobs gets.
