Beth Medrash Govoha is a world-renowned makom Torah for thousands of bachurim and yungeleit who gather daily to bask in the warmth of Torah. For the second consecutive year, BMG is also presenting baalei batim with a unique opportunity; the chance to bask in the glow of intense Torah learning, as well. To this end, BMG provides a yarchei kallah retreat for two precious days full of high-quality, serious learning for any balebos who would like to join.
This initiative, under the auspices of BMG’s Shivti program, enables baalei batim to return to yeshiva-style learning with another purpose as well. The yarchei kallah learning is in areas of halacha that arise in many business situations, making it all the more relevant to scores of baalei batim. The learning then is enjoyable, appropriate and creates a real impact that can be utilized throughout the entire year.
Due to the overwhelming success of last year’s event, participants of last year’s event have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the next yarchei kallah with much anticipation. There is also much interest from those who did not yet participate but are eager for the chance to join this uplifting endeavor for the first time. Registration is open to all baalei batim regardless of age and previous affiliation with BMG. Last year’s attendees even included some father and son/son-in-law pairs who chose to use this time to bond with each other as they learn.
This year’s yarchei kallah will take place from Motzei Shabbos, February 7th to Monday, February 9th in the beautiful Hyatt Regency of Princeton, NJ. The serene environment, conveniently located, yet set apart from the bustle of everyday living, creates an oasis of calm which allows participants to truly disengage from their everyday worries and focus completely on utilizing every minute of learning to its maximum. BMG will be providing the baalei batim with all their material needs via comfortable lodgings and catered meals thereby ensuring that for the entire two days of the yarchei kallah the baalei batim can completely immerse themselves in their learning without worrying about any of their mundane needs. Comprehensive program and details to follow.
