Hatzolah was called down to a wedding hall in Bnei Brak after a report was received about a civilian suffering from a cut in his leg.
The paramedics rushed to the hall and discovered that it was a chosson who had been wounded while breaking the glass under the chuppah. The chosson was taken to the hospital for a brief visit but was able to return to his wedding shortly after receiving stitches.
The hall manager told reporters that in an effort to stop such injuries, the hall is careful to use fragile glass that breaks quickly and easily, which prevents the shards from spreading too far upon cracking.
