Bnos Leaders Gather For Annual Leadership Convention, Hear Chizuk from Rav Levin and Rav Feurst


conventionSeeking camaraderie, inspiration and the opportunity to share experiences and ideas, over 250 Bnos Agudath Israel of America leaders from 30 cities across the country gathered in Chicago, Illinois on the second day of Adar for the 25th annual Bnos Convention. This year’s convention theme was “Nosei B’ol Im Chaveiro” – the imperative to help share in the burden of a fellow Jew. Featured speakers included rav Avrohom Chaim Levin, Rosh HaYeshiva of Telshe-Chicago, and Rav Shmuel Fuerst, Dayan, Agudath Israel of Illinois.”Taking part in a Bnos convention reminds leaders that they are part of a national organization,” says Mrs. Chana Baila Hass, national director of Bnos. “It allows them to return to their branches refreshed and energized, eager to try new ideas and share what they have learned.” The enthusiasm generated by the convention has already led to the creation of a conference-call program that will allow branch leaders to come together by telephone to exchange ideas with other branch leaders across the country.

The leadership convention is an important part of Bnos Agudath Israel’s commitment to providing leadership training for its high school volunteers.
