A moving hachnosas Sefer Torah took place yesterday at the Vizhnitzer Bais Medrash in Bnei Brak. The Sefer Torah was donated by habochur Yosef Stern z”l, who was niftar on Erev Pesach after battling illness for years.
Yosef had raised money to have the Sefer Torah written as a zechus for himself.
During his life, a special group called “Kehillas Yosef Hatzaddik” was established, coordinating for a group of people to visit Yosef’s home on Shabbos and Yomim Tovim to daven with him when he didn’t have the strength to go to shul.
