tehillimYidden around the globe are asked to continue davening for a yeshiva bochur learning in Yerushalayim, who was in a coma five days after breaking his leg when he fell last Thursday night.

The bochur underwent surgery on Sunday and has been under physicians care in the regular part of the Yerushalayim hospital where the procedure was performed.

The bochur, who resides in Lakewood, NJ, learns at Yeshivas Kodshim, led by its rosh yeshiva, Rav Tzvi Kaplan.

He was rushed to the hospital last Friday night and physicians found that a piece of his bone went into his bloodstream and traveled to his aorta, causing a blood clot.

“The bochur was placed on life support so that his body can fight the clot, as the doctors feared that he would not be able to fight it alone,” a source told Matzav.com.

There had been talk of having the bochur transferred to Kansas for treatment by a specialist there, but it appears now that physicians are hopeful for him to make a solid recovery, though rachamei Shomayim is still needed.

All are asked to say Tehillim for habochur Mordechai Shalom ben Sarah.
