hatzolah-of-boro-parkA 5-year-old boy suffered head trauma after a hit-and-run driver struck him in Brooklyn yesterday, police said.

The child was struck while in a parking garage underneath a Shop Rite on McDonald Avenue near Avenue I in Borough Park about 3:50 p.m., cops said. A witness saw a black town car flee the scene.

“I was shocked, because I realized that the car that just passed me must have hit the child,” said Palina Prakopovich, 25, a student at Brooklyn College. “I just saw his little legs.”

Hatzolah rushed the child to Lutheran Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition, police added.

The driver has not been apprehended.
