Cars Vandalized in Boro Park

hikindNYS Assemblyman Dov Hikind joined the NYPD 66th Precinct and Boro Park Shomrim in a patrol along 20th and 21st Avenues in Brooklyn Wednesday morning to assess the vandalism of 11 vehicles.

car vandal“I encourage everyone to not leave loose change or valuable items in your vehicles when you park. Leave nothing visible,” Hikind said. “Don’t give these criminals an incentive to do harm.”

Hikind added, “I applaud the Boro Park Shomrim and the 66th Precinct for a swift response to the scene, and am so very thankful for their due diligence.”

“Be sure to park your cars in well-lit areas and don’t leave anything of value in your vehicles,” said Captain Kenneth Quick of the NYPD 66th Precinct.

  1. The Hatzolah was formed when the government ambulances could not provide. Perhaps, it’s appropriate to form an armed and well reguated militia that will consist of us voluntarily patrolling our own neighborhoods, as opposed to just radioning the cops and hope that they’ll come on time. The Constitution of the United States specifically allows it. Shomrim is a good start, but useless without being armed and trained to use force.
