Boy, 15, Probed by DHS for Saying ‘ISIS’ During Pledge of Allegiance

A 15-year-old Connecticut high school student has been pulled out of school, reported to police, and investigated by the Department of Homeland Security for saying “ISIS” during the Pledge of Allegiance.

The boy, who was not been identified, was not charged with a crime.

Police said they do not believe he is a danger to the community, while his mother testified at a board meeting that removing him from school was irrational. Read more at CTPost.
